Harbor House, Inc., Main Building Harbor House, Inc. is a private non-profit treatment facility. Our main source of funding is through the Arkansas Department of Human Services, Division of Behavioral Health Services, Office of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention (ADAP). The contracts with ADAP have not increased over the last 15 years! For that reason, we have sought out and have been awarded contracts with: Arkansas Drug Court Access To Recovery Oklahoma Department of Corrections ******** We also receive support from: United Way Sebastian County Quorum Court ****************
We are required by our main funding source (ADAP) to use the contract we have with them as ‘the last resource’ available. This means, that the individual has to prove his income in order to be placed in a State Funded Bed, or to receive outpatient services at no cost. This is done by providing the Admissions Counselor with a copy of their most recent W-2’s; a copy of the first page of their most recent tax filing, or a recent check stub. If the individual is ineligible for a State Funded Bed/Services, he may be eligible for a lower rate based on a slide fee.
INSURANCE We receive many calls concerning the use of an individual’s insurance. Over the last several years, Insurance Companies have made it near impossible for individuals to use their coverage for residential alcohol/drug treatment in a non-medical treatment facility. Most require treatment facilities to have medical personnel on staff, as well as the individual seeking treatment to have several outpatient treatment failures before they will approve residential treatment. This has not only made it frustrating for the individual, but also the family members. However, Harbor House, Inc. will make every effort possible to provide treatment at an affordable cost. The most positive move that the individual can make is to bring information on his income. This will give us something solid to work from. This information can be the most recent pay stub; W-2; a print out of income from the Social Security Office or a copy of the first page of his most recent tax filing. Above all, remember that we will try to work with the individual. ************ For more information call: Harbor House, Inc. 479 785-4083 And ask for Admissions.
